We would like to welcome you to our website.

We live on an acreage situated just outside Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We are a small home run operation, with our dogs numbering 4-8. We usually have 1 litter a year, and we aim for quality, not quantity. We are members of the Canadian Kennel Club, the Canadian Shetland Sheepdog Association and Calgary Kennel and Obedience Club (See the links to the right).

I was introduced to 3 beautiful sable sheltie show dogs back in the 70's and after seeing them decided that was the breed I wanted. It took me until 1986, when we purchased our first 2 Shelties: Ginger and Toby. Unfortunately our first litter from these two was not the quality we wanted so we put our breeding plans on the back burner and just enjoyed having them.

When Ginger died at 8 years old we once again started looking for a foundation bitch. We found Carol Williams (Liska Shelties) and Tess. Our education and showing began thanks to Carol. We next met Barb Herbert (Westcountry Shelties) and Hailey (who became the foundation of Kimicko Shelties). Many thanks to Carol and Barb for their un-ending patience and much needed help and advice over the years.
